The Easter bunny brought baskets of goodies for both of my boys.
Suckers are always his sweet treat of choice, this one was no exception.
I prepared an Easter lunch for the three of us which included my first time making a green bean casserole and a brown sugar glazed ham.My favorites were the fun Easter colored deviled eggs and of course the chocolate bunny cake.I hid eggs in the back yard for Lovey to hunt.Always such a handsome, little gentleman. That evening we went out for dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant then back home to round out the day in comfy clothes and some cuddles on the couch.
My birthday. Lovey’s birthday. Roses from my love. Hot Wheels galore. Nana. Papa. Hazelnut fraps. St. Patrick’s Day. Baby Lovey cuddles. Spring cake. First warm days of the year. Bubble bath rock band. German Chocolate cupcakes. All things Easter. Lovey Bunny. Handsome little man. Sleepy boy. Life’s Moments.
Counting My blessings On A Sunday Afternoon
is where I reflect on a few of the many blessing and special moments in my life at the end of every week♥ This week I am especially thankful for!…
~Playing Hot Wheels on the kitchen floor with Lovey. We lost a few under the stove but it was worth the fast paced action the floor tile provided for racing. 😉
~The first day this year warm enough to wear shorts and flip-flops. Woo hoo! You can bet Lovey and I spent the afternoon out and about soaking up the sunshine and warmth of the day.
~New kitchen dish towels found on clearance and a splurge on new throw pillows for the couch. Both adding a little pop of yellow to our house for Spring.
~Playing superheros with my little man. I assume the role of a lady in distress and he’s the super hero that protects me from the bad guys. My sweet hero saves the day and keeps me safe every time!
~A beautiful and blessed Easter weekend spent with my boys. ♥
Thank You Lord,
for Your many gracious blessings in my life!
Lovey has always had a fascination with fish so when I saw this fish themed Easter egg decorating kit I knew he would love it.He and I had so much fun decorating our ‘fishy’ eggs together. We spent the afternoon pretending that we were fish too.
